Mini shorts and mainly Hotpants were very popular in the 70´s.

 The "hotpants" were very brief and usually tight-fitting sexy shorts that honestly, didn´t cover much and  were matched especially with tops and high tight boots. Quite a provocative picture for the 70´s, if you ask me. I believe the word: "hot" was perfectly put cause those pants were on fire. But let´s face it, you obviously needed to have a great behind to wear these kind of pants ;)

Back then, Catherine Bach from the American television series, "The Dukes of Hazzard" was a huge fan of the hotpants but nowadays, i always think of Chloe Sevigny when it comes to extra minishorts. The girl loves to wear those with anything. Minishorts are her style.

Kate Moss is another one that loves shorts and likes to wear them especially with vests. Personally, i like shorts with black tights like Zooey Deschanel in the picture below. Hotpants are too much for me.
