Lo and I decided to swing by one of our favorite spots for a meeting of the minds over drinks.  Stone Rose Lounge tucked inside of The Sofitel Hotel is by far one of my favorite low-key local jaunts. We only stayed for a little while though, the music was blaring, and people were running around in freakish Halloween costumes. So we left for something a bit more mellow; Lola's, home of the Apple Martini.

We sipped on drinks, nibbled on vittles, mapped out new goals, and revisited the old. It's always fun making new memories, and laughing till it hurts with friends - Cheers to stepping out on faith, and not letting past experiences order your steps. I hope everyone starts Monday off with a clean, fresh, balanced slate.

For the young lady that asked about my nameplate necklace; you can get it at any Swapmeet. Don't go to those trendy places in malls or online [they charge an upwards of $100]. This 18k nameplate necklace was about $70 [which included a diamond over the "i"]. I believe they start at about $40 at most Swapmeets.

The drinks were delicious! Lola's specializes in Martini's; I had a Peartini & Lo had a Strawberry-tini
