Coming and going...
It has come the time of the year where on one side of the world, flowers as much as warm colours blossom and the soft breeze starts blowing heavily. While, on the other side, leaves fall from the trees, the bright colours fade and the air becomes crisp again. Some take their dresses out of the closets and start looking for matching sandals of the new S/S Jimmy Choos, Manolos, Louboutins while others go with the jackets and the long heavy coats and start shaking off the dust of their favourite boots at home or start checking out this year´s thigh high ones of the F/W collection of Chloe, Isabel Marant or Marc Jacobs.
Each season has a special charm, but personally i adore Spring time and i´m glad i´ll get to enjoy it now. I can´t wait for the rainbow colours, the fresh, soft clothes, the minidresses, the scent of flowers, the delicate scent of floral fragances, the warmth of the sun, the late nights out, the love in the air. This time of the year, my "free spirit" mood becomes stronger and my imagination blossoms like flowers. It´s this time of the year when i feel really inspired...
It´s just LOVELY.

The Lovely and Fabulous Birkin Bag

I would absolutely wait for a Birkin bag!

Birkin told noted fashion writer Dana Thomas that while seated next to Hermès CEO Jean-Louis Dumas in 1984 on a Paris to London flight, she opened her Hermès-made datebook and a flurry of loose notes fell to the floor. Dumas took her datebook and returned it a few weeks later with a pocket sewn into the back (which has since become standard). Birkin went on to discuss with Dumas her difficulty in finding a leather weekend bag and at his prompting, described her ideal. Shortly thereafter, the bag she described arrived at her flat with a note from Dumas.
Generally, the price of a Birkin starts at approximately $5000 USD, not including sales taxes, but can reach 5- and sometimes 6-digit prices, particularly when the bag is constructed from exotic animal skins. Allegedly, the waiting list for a Birkin is over two years. In practice, however, many stores have a "call list" and an "order list".
Hermès Birkin handbags are hand-built by experienced craftsmen, one of the primary factors contributing to the high price of all Hermès handbags. The exterior of the bag can be made of a variety of leathers. Typically, a Birkin bag's lining is made of goat skin and its color will match the bag's exterior color. The metallic hardware on a Birkin bag (the lock, keys, buckle hardware and feet studs) are typically plated with gold or other precious metals, such as palladium. Locks and keys are number-coded.

Baby´s in Black
I simply LOVE Jane Birkin´s outfit here.
Little minidress and a cute jacket.
Looks simple, casual, effortless and yet elegant and sexy at the same time. I believe a little black dress is something you should ALWAYS have in your closet. Black never goes out of style, you can match it with anything and use it day or night. It´s always a good choice. You will always be proper dressed with a black dress. Black tights are the perfect touch for me.

Jane Birkin

Birkin was born in London to David Birkin, a Royal Navy lieutenant-commander and World War II espionage operative, and Judy Campbell, an actress in Noel Coward musicals. Birkin emerged in the Swinging London scene of the 1960s, appearing as one of the models in the 1966 film "Blowup". In 1968, Birkin auditioned in France for the lead female role in "Slogan". Though she did not speak French, she won the role. She co-starred with Serge Gainsbourg and duetted with him on the film's theme song — the first of many collaborations between the two. In 1969, she and Gainsbourg released the duet "Je t'aime... moi non plus" ("I love you... nor do I"). Gainsbourg originally wrote the song for Brigitte Bardot. Serge and Jane had a passionate and creative relationship and were together until 1980. Their daughter is actress Charlotte Gainsbourg. Birkin also appeared on Gainsbourg's 1971 album Histoire de Melody Nelson, portraying the Lolita-like protagonist in song and on the cover. Birkin took a break from acting in 1971-72, but returned as Brigitte Bardot's lover in Don Juan (Or If Don Juan Were a Woman) in 1973. In 1975, she appeared in Gainsbourg's first film, Je t'aime... moi non plus, which created a stir for frank examination of sexual ambiguity. During the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s, she continued with her actress/singer career.
